Who are you?

My name is Ananda – which means Bliss – and through my work, I guide people back to their own inner joy.

After running my own hair salon for ten years, I felt the deep calling to shift my focus from outer beauty to inner beauty.

I began with a holistic Ayurveda training, followed by certifications as a yoga teacher and sound therapist.

Tell us a little bit about your relationship to yoga? 

I’ve been practicing yoga since 2015, and becoming a yoga teacher truly changed my life.

At first, I thought I would simply learn how to guide people through asanas, but my time in the ashram took me much deeper.

I came to understand that yoga is so much more than physical practice – it works on all levels of our being.

This holistic impact also runs through everything else I offer, and I love witnessing this transformation in others.

What does Soul mean to you?

To me, the soul is our untouchable essence – the true self that is deeply connected to a higher wisdom.

When we reconnect with that wisdom, we receive so many answers. But everyday life often pulls us away from the silence we need to hear them.

Ayurveda, yoga, and sound help to build a bridge back to that place – bringing us closer to our own pure essence.

Tell us a little bit about your classes for our Soul & (not) Surf week.’

The goal of meditation is inner stillness – a quiet mind, free of constant thought.

This state brings deep relief and a sense of lightness. For those who struggle to calm their thoughts, sound can be a powerful ally.

Whether through a sound journey or a sound massage, these vibrations support the harmonization of body, mind, and soul, activate the body’s self-healing powers, and invite deep relaxation on all levels.

Ananda’s class Sound Journey Description:

A session where you’ll be guided by the calming tones of singing bowls and other instruments into a meditative inner journey. No effort needed, just a chance to slow down, breathe and let your body soften. The vibrations will help you to ease tension, quiet the mind and bring you back to yourself.  Come as you are and reset.
