Surf and Yoga Holidays in Portugal’s Atlantic coast with Soul & Surf Portugal

Surf and Yoga Holidays in Europe

If you’ve been Googling ‘surf and yoga holiday Europe’ — hello, it’s us you’re looking for.

We’re Soul & Surf Portugal, and we do things a little differently. Less corporate wellness jargon. More salty hair, sore paddle muscles, genuine laughs and those can’t-stop-smiling post-surf, post-yoga vibes.

We’re based in the Algarve, near Portugal’s south-western tip. Think consistent Atlantic swell, south coast gems, quiet beaches (yes, they still exist), clifftop sunsets and a laid-back local surf scene. Add daily yoga in our orange grove, nourishing home-cooked food, and a team that actually cares if you’re having a good time… and you’re getting close to what we’re about.

Portugal’s surf season runs pretty much all year round, but here’s the honest lowdown:

  • Spring & Autumn (March–June / September–November): Best waves, fewer crowds, warm enough for post-surf beers in the sun.
  • Summer (July–August): Smaller, fun waves and sunny beach days — perfect for beginners.
  • Winter (December–February): Bigger swells for experienced surfers, plus cosy post-surf vibes at the house.
