After seven seasons in our rented quinta, we’ll be saying goodbye at the end of November 2025.
From 4th April 2026, we’ll welcome you to our new home near Burgau — closer to the beach, still rooted in the Algarve, a bit more wonky (for now) yet full of the same Soul & Surf fam.
We’ll be closing the doors at Quinta da Mesquita on 26th November 2025. Big props to everyone who’s surfed, yogi-ed, gorged, giggled, and shared it with us.
Just fifteen minutes west, tucked close to the laid-back fishing village of Burgau, our new chapter begins.
From April 2026, we’ll open the gates to our own quinta, Quinta Agave. Yep, we’ve finally grown-up and bought somewhere. Honestly, the site is amazing. For now the accommodation is a little more raw than our old place but we’ll give it all as much love as we can over the winter. And our new rates will reflect that.
We are closer to the beach, surrounded by wild Algarve beauty, and ready to hold more of the moments that make Soul & Surf, well… Soul & Surf.
The location has changed, but the spirit remains the same — surf, yoga, food, music, massage and friends.We’ll have a mix of private and shared rooms & styled out bell-tents, so whether you’re coming solo, with a partner, or as a group, there’s a space to suit you.
Wherever we go, Soul & Surf comes with us.

Prices will be a little lower. Over the coming years we will renovate the rooms and common areas. For now we’ll make the best of what we have.

What Isn’t Included
While the following are all available – these items aren’t included in your all inclusive price.
Tents (Shared Twin with shared outdoor bathroom) – Between 12th May and 12th October – for the slightly more adventurous of you – there’s the option of sleeping outdoors. Our tents are offered as a shared option and can be booked with a friend or a family member or shared with one other solo traveller of the same gender. There is a fan in all our tents.
Quite Nice Rooms (Shared Twin with shared bathroom) – Our Quite Nice Room is offered as a shared option and can be booked with a friend or a family member or if you are travelling alone, shared with another solo traveller of the same gender. Please note, bathrooms are shared between 3 Quite Nice Rooms. The apartment has a living room to chill during the day. There are fans in each of our rooms.
Nice Rooms (Twin or Double with shared bathroom) – We have 2 Nice Rooms with a twin set up, they are both sharing a bathroom with another double room. This room can be booked with a friend, family member or if you are travelling alone it can be shared with another solo traveller of the same gender. The apartment also has a shared living room. Fans in all our rooms.
Nice Rooms (Double with shared bathroom) – We have 2 Nice Rooms with double beds, both sharing a bathroom with another Twin Room. Book it alone or with a friend, partner or family member. The apartment also has a shared living room. Fans in all our rooms.
Really Nice Rooms (Shared Twin with ensuite bathroom) –
We have 2 studio-apartments in this category, each with their own bathroom and living space. They can be booked as a twin, double or solo occupancy and they also have space for an extra bed, which can be set up in the living space, suitable for a family of three or a group of friends. Fans in all our rooms.
Really Nice Rooms (Double with ensuite bathroom) – We have one Really Nice Room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The apartment is big enough for an extra bed, there is a working and chilling corner in it. Fans in all our rooms.

Yes, the Really Nice Rooms have space for an extra bed or cot which can be set up in the living space, suitable for a family of three or friends.
