As part of our Summer Sessions, Soul & Surf are popping up at Benk and Bo in the heart of London for the day as we bring you as much from our sunny beach side Kerala home that we possibly can.

Join us for for a day of Meditation, some signature S&S flow (Hayley Mia) and some Soulful Yin (Pip Roberts) and of course a scrummy lunch. We’ll be trying to recreate those dreamy beachside feels as much as we can with a water based meditation and even a sea salt scrub making session.

We’re ever so excited to be collaborating with Pip Roberts again after her sell out Yin workshop she held with us in Kerala this January.

Hayley will guide us through a delicious 75minute Vinyasa Flow, as we reconnect to our bodies and find space to breathe in an embodied moving meditation. Aiming to leave us feeling invigorated and energised whilst blissing out to some heavenly scents and soulful sounds.

Pip will be working to temper the fiery heat within the body with a cooling, calming yin practice to bring your energy into line with the season. A beautiful practice focussed mostly on the upper body – expect emotions to be balanced through a sequence of heart openers, and upper back and shoulder stretches working into the small intestine and heart meridian

What would a Soul and Surf get together be without some food huh? We got you… we’ll be providing a light Indian inspired lunch to fill your bellies.

1:45-3:15 Yin Yoga

About Your Teachers

Pip

Pip holds over 800 hours of training from the British Wheel of Yoga, Tara Stiles, Shiva Rea and Norman Blair.  A firm believer in natural movement you’ll find her working with seasonal energies to restore a mind body connection through an individualised practice to suit your body that day.  Her down to earth approach and sense of humour set her apart from the rest.  Check her out at piproberts.com 
Hayley Mia

Hayley came to yoga from a holistic background having worked as a massage therapist for most of her young adult life. She has a very hands on approach to Yoga, concentrating on alignment whilst encouraging you to find your own path. She discovered yoga whilst living in New Zealand, starting with Ashtanga, and now having practiced many different styles, she really relates to the discipline and the core strengthening elements of Vinyasa Yoga. You can also find her enjoying sharing Yin Yoga with her students these days.
